As the Maintenance supervisor at Bay Valley Foods I was responsible for the repair and preventative maintenance program of all facility forklifts as well as warehouse equipment. This included both final palletizing equipment as well as the label line for the Mendota soup operation. I created a PM program for the soup warehouse equipment. I also built a spare parts inventory and storage area after Bay Valley Foods purchased the Soup operation from Del Monte Foods while staying within the monthly repair budget for my area of responsibility.

I started working at Del Monte Foods during my summers home from college. I worked in on the sanitation crew as well as a contractor hauling waste from the facility. In 2003 I started working as a Mechanic where I worked on equipment during the off season to make sure that equipment was ready for the production season. I also worked on repairs during the season and major improvement projects. I then took on the roll as Crewleader of the Pea department. As Crewleader I oversaw the maintenance of my area as well as lead a crew of seasonal employees to process incoming peas from the truck to the canning room to ensure top quality finished products. After one season as crewleader I accepted the 3rd shift labeling supervisor position where I oversaw the labeling and warehousing of both soup and vegetables. As the 3rd shift supervisor I was the only member of management in the warehouse during the overnight hours.
