Reporting to the Regional CFO, my responsibilities cover the following areas:New Business – Seek new business opportunities across APAC in the areas of existing business, adjacencies, vertical integration, IOT and licensing. Maintain a funnel of assessment ideas and opportunities. Collaborate with Business Unit Leaders to identify and evaluate business opportunities to grow profitably and optimize the capital structure.Strategic Plan for APAC – Lead the development and review of the Annual Strategic Plan. Determine market growth, Electrolux share and country development. Work with Product Line Management to assess the product portfolio in terms of grow, milk, fix or exit. Work with functional leaders to assess new business models and enhance productivity and efficiency.Balanced Scorecard – Work closely with the CEO of APAC to set the Strategic Pillars, Key Success Factors and KPI’s that support the Strategic Plan for APAC. The key responsibility was to lead the activities of the European Sector and Country Controllers to ensure the accurate preparation and timely reporting of monthly management information of the EMA-E for Electrolux Group Management. Co-ordinate the preparation of monthly- quarterly financial forecasts- yearly budgets and Strategic Plans. Review/challenge macro economic and base business assumptions to ensure realistic financial and non financial objectives/targets are set. Additionally ensure a action plans are set and able to be tracked and are a follow up process is maintained. Conduct monthly follow ups with EMA-E Management on the financial performance and non financial objectives/targets. Provide financial and administrative support to the Pension Group. Review- improve- implement and maintain controls and procedures for the management of Pension Assets and Liabilities. Establish a reporting routine to allow management assess the performance of Pension Management.Project manage the implementation of approved strategies to *minimise the inherent risks to pension assets and liabilities- *assist in the consolidation of management of pension assets and *grow GT's internal dealing manadateCoordinate with RAO and CHO's to understand the impact of changes to local and international laws on pension assest or liabilities. Continuously improve the cost to serve model. Monitor customer profitability to enable assessment of Sales Management initiatives and their impact to bottom line results. Responsible for the Order to Cash process. Review and maintain existing process checks and balances. Ensure process changes are recorded and tested to comply with Sarbanes Oxley. Manage all Sarbanes Oxley requirements from MASA and PWC.Manage a team of 6 direct reports and total team of 27 in terms on the job performance- career development and training needs.

The key responsibility was to lead the activities of Business Unit Controllers and the Accounting Services Manager to ensure the accurate preparation and timely reporting of monthly management information of all divisions for the local executive team and Group Head Office. Establish and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure adherence with the Electrolux Accounting Manual and local authorities for all divisions. Liaise with external auditors.Co-ordinate the preparation of monthly- quarterly financial forecasts and yearly budgets. Review/challenge Sales unit/price forecasting assumptions. Review Administrative Services assumptions for cost and headcount forecasts. Business partner departments within the organisation in terms of design of financial models and review of financials for proposed projects.Responsible for the preparation of the local statutory accounts- IFRS implementation and tax returns for the Electrolux Home Products Pty Ltd holding company and its underlying subsidiaries.Reported to CFO.
