Inflight Entertainment Manager for Emirates and its partner SriLankan Airlines. Testing, developing, launching and programming content, on the world's most advanced VOD entertainment system for Emirates, with over 600 channels of entertainment, catering to a multi-cultural worldwide audience, but focussed primarily on UK and US Content.Controlling annual budgets and maximising revenue from onboard product including advertising, sponsorship, phones, email and SMS messaging.Production of six different monthly entertainment guides for various fleets across the two airlines, in both printed and digital formats.Identifying and anticipating passenger needs within traditional customer demographics and sourcing new products for a rapidly expanding network, including Japanese, Chinese and Urdu movies, music and TV content.Creating specialist onboard videos such as safety or promotional videos, as well as reinforcing the company branding through station idents, TV stings, music jingles and graphical identities.Managing logistics for both digital and tape systems, along with the differing requirements of a diverse range of external media suppliers, as well as internal customers such as engineering, cabin services, catering, PR, internet services, advertising and promotions.SriLankan Airlines won 3 Avion awards at the 2004 World Airline Entertainment Association's annual conference, including best overall entertainment in its class.
