• Maintaining full responsibility for the day to day management of bakery hygiene standards, collaborating with manufacturing, technical, engineering and distribution departments to ensure we exceed customer expectations whilst achieving the highest quality products• Direct people management and development of more than 20-staff, increasing levels of team engagement at site through monthly team briefs with business and site updates, VIP recognition awards, employee forums looking at events… Show more • Maintaining full responsibility for the day to day management of bakery hygiene standards, collaborating with manufacturing, technical, engineering and distribution departments to ensure we exceed customer expectations whilst achieving the highest quality products• Direct people management and development of more than 20-staff, increasing levels of team engagement at site through monthly team briefs with business and site updates, VIP recognition awards, employee forums looking at events and projects in the community.• Streamlining the efficiency of site hygiene after the introduction of agile operations, and effectively communicating hygiene standards and plans to the manufacturing teams.• My role included managing workwear garments for all staff, pest control over 4 sites. • Procurement for all PPE and Janitorial consumable along with hygiene equipment, chemicals, production utensils, and some site capital projects.• Responsible for facilitating specialised hygiene tasks such as confined space tasks, internal cleaning of flour silos, brine tank, liquid fat tank, internal oven cleans, and high-level hygiene tasks. • Leading hygiene control for site facilities such as grounds landscaping, washroom services, forklifts, MEWPS, environmental services such as interceptor and drainage, legionella water treatment, waste management.• Contributing in daily meetings to review site performance covering H & S, hygiene and food safety, order fulfilment and the overall daily efficiency of the site.• Involved in site and national continuous improvement projects.• Contributing to H & S meetings and initiatives for site with the aim of working towards zero accidents making tomorrow better than today.
