Drawing upon established relationships with industry, union and emergency service representatives, Michael utilised various strategies to ensure both process and personnel safety on site among other project deliverables. Prior to joining WorkSafe Michael spent ten years working in the petrochemical sector in maintenance, operational and safety roles.Michael believes the key to any health and safety strategy is engagement with employees at all levels of the organisation and a relentless focus on developing the team to maximise their growth and contribution.
