Curator of Exhibitions for the College of the Arts in various venues in and around Fletcher Hall, Angelle Hall Auditorium Lobby, and other venues on campus. He/she will coordinate the COA community engagement and outreach activities. Finally, he/she would curate the Festival of the Arts including its signature event, ArTech Fusion. Includes writing and managing grant proposals where needed and appropriate, securing sponsorships for exhibits and events, and promoting exhibits and events.

Curator for the BARE Walls programBARE Walls is an art subscription service, operated through Basin Arts, which turns “BARE” business walls into gallery space. The program objective is twofold: to provide an affordable way for businesses to have a creative and dynamic workspace and to provide residual income for working artists in our community. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a collaborative environment, be self-directed to keep up with deadlines across projects, and bring a positive energy to the team. Some experience in the sales and marketing arena is preferred as this position includes maintaining existing relationships and developing future business.Necessary Skills:-exceptionally organized and detail oriented, able to multitask-strong background or interest in visual arts-excellent verbal and written communication skills-knowledgeable in sales and marketing strategies-familiarity with computer programs and platforms (adobe, google suite, wix, facebook, instagram, asana)Responsibilities:-scheduling of meetings, programs, and artwork rotations-tracking contracts and payments between clients and the program-customer service, client communication, and retention-execution of sales and marketing strategies in collaboration with the program director to promote new business development.-liaise with all participating artists and maintaining digital portfolios-social media content creation specific to BARE Walls
