Throughout his entire law school career, Mr. Edison maintained his position on the Dean’s List and the Honor Roll; while also receiving a Certificate of Merit in both Civil Procedure II and Criminal Procedure. Mr. Edison was inducted into the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society due to his academic performance.During Mr. Edison’s law school career, he interned with a civil litigation plaintiff’s law firm. Once in his final year of law school, Mr. Edison worked as a law clerk with a civil litigation defense firm in Hyde Park, focusing on Insurance Defense Litigation. Upon passing the Bar Exam, Mr. Edison began working as an Associate Attorney with a large Insurance Defense Firm in Tampa, FL.During law school, Mr. Edison was an active student body member. Previously serving as the Secretary of the Federal Bar Association Law Student Division for the Cooley Law School Chapter. Mr. Edison was also one of two founders and the first President of Help Save the Next Girl WMU Cooley Law School Chapter. This is a student organization focused primarily on expanding human trafficking awareness, preventing human trafficking, and the rapid information dissemination of missing persons.Before practicing law, Mr. Edison enjoyed a career in law enforcement, specifically in the area of Narcotics Investigations. During his law enforcement career, Mr. Edison received numerous medals and commendations for his performance in the field.
