It is a funny journey our career paths take. I started mine at 16 as an apprentice in Electronic Engineering. My journey so far has led me through many different specialties of Engineering, from Test to Manufacturing and now Technical Support.These experiences have enabled me to look at my roles from a different perspective, taking a step back to look at how my actions effect different departments.At DTC I have been responsible for Manufacturing Engineering, developing products from the concept design all the way through to completed product Manufacturing. My role as a Client Services Engineer has enabled me to be more customer focused and driven. Combining the Manufacturing Engineering and Client Service experience has ensured that I can look at a Product from muliple angles, from customer to DFM.
