As a Client Services Engineer, I provide pre and post sales technical support for our customers at DTC

My role as a Manufacturing Technician is to support and improve manufacturing processes throughout the business. As well as supporting manufacturing, I support and organise the Manufacturing Engineering team. Day to day responsibilities:- Responsible for Reviewing and implementing Lean Manufacturing principles- Supporting Purchasing on technical knowledge, eg component approvals - Supporting Goods In on technical knowledge, eg non-conforming parts - Supporting Manufacturing, including documentation, process, continual improvements & software testing- Supporting and improving Manufacturing Engineering team - Responsible for monitoring and improving Drawing Office processes & documentation - Responsible for Factory Equipment Calibration - Responsible for NPI process implementation - Supporting factory facility maintenance, whether improvement or preventative - Responsible for updating and introducing packaging for product transit

Working in the Test and customer return dept. Responsibilities: - Anemometer wind tunnel calibration - Investigating & repairing multiple models of Gill Anemometers, such as: WindMaster, WindObserver, WindSonic and MetPak variants. - Writing production Test Procedures - Product software and improvement testing - Analysing production circuit board failures - Production support
