Michael joined CORE Wealth Advisors in 2017 and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™(CFP®) designee. In his role as advisor, he collaborates with individuals, families and businesses to develop financial plans to meet their unique specifications and needs. He also serves as the firm’s in-house specialist for advanced financial planning technologies- working closely with CORE advisors to build, maintain and update a wide array of customized financial plans.In 2017, he received the Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist℠ designation from the College for Financial Planning. This designation is awarded to individuals who specialize in creating, implementing, and maintaining retirement plans for businesses. In 2022, Michael obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation.Prior to joining CORE, Michael worked locally as a Retirement Plan Specialist and as a Resource Development Director with the United Way of Central Florida – coordinating fundraising efforts with a wide variety of companies throughout Polk, Hardee, and Highlands Counties. His previous experience in non-profit and retirement plan areas provides an additional vantage point when developing viable, long-term partnerships with his clients.Michael graduated from Florida Southern College where he majored in Financial Management. He is a current member of the Kiwanis Club of Lakeland, and served as club President in 2018/2019. He continues to be involved at Florida Southern College, belonging to the ‘6th Man Club’ Basketball Boosters and is a member of the Spivey Society. He is a former Chapter Advisor for the Sigma Chi Fraternity at Florida Southern College, a graduate of Leadership Lakeland Class XXXI, and Leadership Polk Class XII.Michael and his wife Christine enjoy traveling, but they also enjoy their time at home in Lakeland with their daughters, Ansley and Adelyn. Michael is a huge sports fan and a supporter of the Gators, Buccaneers, Lightning, Rays and FSC Basketball.
