Until know I have been responsible for implementation of ISO 9001 and ISO 45001. I have decentralized responsibility of quality and by this the responsibility got closer to does who can do a difference. A similar process we did with Health and Safety – specially in Latvia where there has been a culture of centralize responsibility.I have done a lot of network and still do to secure a link between educational institute as university, business school etc. both to make the students aware of KVIST as a company and possible workplace or place for doing there Master degree. In this period, we have increased our awareness at the students and each semester we have one or to application for making master thesis and we have one or two student works with study relevant work ongoing.I’m playing a major role in the KVIST environmental strategy. As KVIST do not own any products them self a question was whether we could take the lead. Implementation on EU-Ecolabel and Nordic Swan as a service option for our customers was our first step after FSC certified wood.I have worked with #Circular Economy the last 15 years and strongly believe this is part of the bigger solution and I have been part of setting this on the EU agenda with-in the furniture industry. But the big scale industry is first in this period ready on a bigger scale to enter this agenda.Structured documentation and secure prove of process became quickly next step as I in my strategy must ensure KVIST are in the lead of a #sustainble business.Next step in the strategic work is securing #ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) strategy and make KVIST ready to be applicable with the requirements which will come in the coming years on a transparent business.

My 9 years at the Danish Working Environment Authority (WEA) has given me various skills, as I during these 9 years had various task from inspection, internal services, #policy and standards, new inspection forms, training, Minister support and communication and implementation of strategy.2 major take-out has been translate politic and strategy into operational procedures, and translate operational hick-up into political and strategy papers which there can be taken decision.My work at WEA also gave me a curiosity into understand more about administration of a business and become stronger in my argumentation, specially on a strategy level.It was at that time, I found my interest in the education of Master of Public Administration (MPA).
