Managed Medicaid-funded home care program for New York City. We assessed eligibility and authorized service, determined service plans, and contracted with vendors to provide home attendants. In my capacity, I oversaw 800 people, including case workers, nurses and doctors.

Authored The Crusader, a novel of historical fiction, published by Doubleday (hardcover) and Anchor (paperback); bestseller in England (5 weeks on top 20 fiction list); optioned to movies; translated into 13 languages.Wrote two other novels and two screenplays, all of them spectacular (take my word for it), but unfortunately not recognized by the powers that be, not yet anyway. In any case, once a novelist, always a novelist, and I will continue to view the world from such a vantage.
