Whilst I have tended to specialise in the intellectual property and trade practices areas I have consciously avoided limiting my practice to those areas so that my expertise would extend to commercial matters and significant cases. The experience gained there obviously cross-feeds into and enhances my specialist areas. I also have a particular interest in strategic approaches to litigation and resolution of disputes. I have appeared in many mediations conducted in relation to matters in which I have been briefed and constantly advise my clients to attempt alternative forms of resolution of their disputes.
