I’ve spent my career studying human behaviour and supporting people to bring their potential to life. More recently, I work closely with start-up founders, companies and leaders to design transformational workplace cultures, L&D programs and employee experiences. My work is based on a foundation of self-awareness, empathy and inspired leadership.

FounderConscious Culture Collective Jan 2021 - PresentMelbourne, AuWe are creating a better world of work through self awareness, empathy and inspired leadership. This community began in the depths of lockdowns and isolation in 2021. I was craving connection and posted a comment here on LinkedIn, inviting people to join me in a slack channel. It blew up and turned into a strong, deeply connected community of people who want to make their work, their workplaces and this world more inclusive, aware and consciously connected. This has evolved into a consultancy whereby I design culture strategy for ambitious and progressive companies that care about people and the future of this planet. Recent and current clients include:* Fifth Element Wellness* Antimony* Archa* Clipchamp* The PR Group -

DirectorMichael Ellis Coaching Oct 2013 - PresentI've been working as a personal and professional development coach since 2013. I've worked with clients across a diverse range of professions and stages of life. I've run countless programs, workshops and mens circles. I typically work with clients 1:1 for a period of a few months to a few years. Currently I work with only a few clients at a time. People come to me at at time when they're facing some big decisions or experiencing frustration with change or the unknown. I draw upon decades of teaching, coaching, mentoring and leadership experience and various modalities I've trained in along the way. Currently my work is largely IFS informed, using Internal Family Systems model as a framework for understanding our self and parts in a more integrated way. While I have always worked with a few clients 1:1, I've incorporated coaching into each role I've had and have plenty of experience working with founders, CEOs, leaders, executives and teams at a time when they're needing support and a framework to navigate change. What I love most about this work is to see the potential in someone, help remind them of that and to design a strategy to bring that potential to life. I'm currently working with a clients who are looking to change careers and explore something new but don't know where or how to start. It's awesome work, I love it and so do my clients. -

Culture StrategistPragmatic Thinking Jan 2019 - Jan 2020Currumbin, Queensland, AuPragmatic Thinking partners with ambitious leaders wanting to achieve real change through world-class projects and leadership training for the future of work. My role was to work with companies who wanted deep, sustainable and transformational culture change. I would work closely with CEOs and Senior Executives to design bespoke culture strategy that meets their needs. Typically, I'd spend a month or two understanding the current needs, then designing a strategy that brings their culture vision to life. This would result in a culture strategy document followed by a period of coaching and mentoring to support the integration of that strategy. Other programs I worked on included the delivering the Future Leaders program for Wine Australia. We partnered with Wine Australia to deliver a transformational leadership program for the emerging leaders of the industry. This was a six month program with deep, immersive leadership training experiences delivered in Sydney, Kangaroo Valley, Melbourne and McLaren Vale. I was also responsible for designing a leadership development program for the Executive Leadership team of Bankwest. Working closely with the Managing Director, we created an program based around the art and science of leadership. This culminated in a workshop that we held at Perth Stadium, incorporating the entire venue, the ground and the big screen. Other programs I facilitated include, Dealing with the Tough Stuff - building a phenomenal feedback culture. Great Team Framework - discovering patterns the best teams are built on. Coaching Mastery - a coaching framework for the next level of leadership. One of the great privileges I had working with companies as a consultant / parter was the opportunity to design and facilitate deeply immersive, experiential learning experiences. We did this through incorporating our surrounds, including the beaches of the Gold Coast, the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Perth Stadium and other iconic landmarks. -
