As a lawyer and member of the law firm of Motley Rice LLC, I am engaged in an active appellate and litigation practice. My fields of interest include:• international cross border disputes • human rights• anti-terrorism• occupational disease• securitiesI serve as lead counsel in suits brought by victims of terrorist attacks against those that knowingly and purposefully fund terrorism including Almog, et al. v. Arab Bank, PLC and Krishanthi, et al. v. Rajaratnam, et al., among others.Additionally, I serve as a consultant to foreign litigants in complex civil litigation. We are actively working with counsel in South Africa pursuing a class action on behalf of gold mine workers suffering from silicosis, a preventable yet incurable disease. I have represented clients in arguments before various U.S. Circuit Courts of Appeals and was on brief as counsel for several petitions before the U.S. Supreme Court and on behalf of various amici. As a consultant, I have been invited to appear on national and international news outlets including CNN, MSNBC, NPR, FOX News, Al Jazeera and the BBC, and I have been a lecturer at a number of industry conferences.*Any result we achieve for one client in one matter does not necessarily indicate similar results can be obtained for other clients.
