Michael Ervolina is the founder and principal of ErvoSquare, a Denver, CO based commercial real estate investment firm specializing in small bay industrial and industrial with outdoor storage (“IOS”). With a background in finance and real estate, Michael has successfully acquired and managed over $125 million in real estate assets throughout his career. ErvoSquare takes an entrepreneurial approach to identifying assets in the lower-middle market and creates value through proactive asset management, strategic redevelopment, and tactical leasing strategies.Born and raised in Buffalo, New York, Michael's professional journey began after earning his degree in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Villanova University where he was a four-time academic all-American with the Men’s Club Ice Hockey team. Following his graduation during the Great Financial Crisis, Michael joined J.P. Morgan in New York City supporting the interest rates derivates sales and trading division. Several years later he earned his M.S. in Real Estate from New York University and then spent time at some of the top real estate capital advisory firms in the country. Michael followed that up working in real estate private equity at Cohen Equities and SomeraRoad Inc. where his firm invested in distressed real estate and non-performing loans across the country. This comprehensive experience laid the foundation for his entrepreneurial leap in 2020 when he founded ErvoSquare after moving to Denver, CO.Michael is passionate about building a business that benefits his investors, partners, and the communities in which they work in. He values meaningful relationships and an ethical and hands-on approach to all facets of business. In his free time, Michael enjoys snowboarding, golfing, cheering on the Buffalo Bills, and taking advantage of Denver’s outdoor lifestyle.
