Working on store refits and new stores to deliver the proposed CAD. My primary role is product merchandising and fixtures but I work closely with the project manager to ensure all aspects of a job are delivered. Each job consists of pre work including ordering of equipment and preparing resources, onsite work which consists of building and collapsing fixtures, merchandising product and leading a team of external merchandisers, and post work which includes producing drawings of completed works and clearing the site of excess equipment.

In this role I was responsible for the back office, scanning and admin side of the Oakham superstore. It was my responsibility to ensure all delivery notes were processed and stored correctly, I also had to deal with queries sent by suppliers or head office. I also had to ensure certain legal elements of the business were in order and up to date, including shelf pricing, legal check books, cash control and fire alarm tests. I also dealt with most security issues including reporting criminal incidents to the police and liaising with them as well as ensuring all CCTV and security systems are running correctly and arranging maintenance if required. As well as this I am was a duty manager which requires me to be in charge of the store and colleagues when other management was not there. I was also key holder for the site meaning I had to respond to intruder, fire and refrigeration alarms or power cuts during closed hours.
