- Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) facilities and how they incorporate FEMA Corps into the workplace. SOP also covered rules and regulations for individual teams and created an agency wide platform so that FEMA Corps teams are utilized more efficiently, no matter the location.- Acted as the Project Outreach Liaison (POL), which entailed a multitude of duties. The first duty was conducting group briefings for each project. The briefings informed the project Point of Contact (POC), may it be an individual, agency, or group that we would be partnered with. It covered our experience, skills, and backgrounds. Another duty was acting as the main contact person for our POCs, and delegating projects to the individuals that could accomplish the assigned project within the time alloted.

Madison, Wisconsin Area

- Handled public outreach for the Madison, WI chapter of the Red Cross that related to the Home Fire Prevention Campaign. Outreach included the scheduling of community fair events, fire department awareness meetings, and door to door installations.- Assisted in the maintaining of the General Fleet cars for the Madison, WI chapter.--- Scheduled maintenance, completed pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and personally inspected all the cars during their bi-weekly motor stable checks and cleanings.

A responsibility of the Contemporary Production Director (CPD) was programming the Saturday night service, the two Sunday morning services, and the Wednesday night service. Another responsibility was the directing of the audio, visual, and physical components of a worship service. The programming part consisted of the design and set up the stage to fit the needs of the musicians and the use of computer programs to format backgrounds and lyrics, as well a lighting and special effects. The directing entailed that responsibility of flow between visual and audio cues, cameras, and personnel movement all were in sync. Any issues that occurred during the service were handled by the CPD in a manner that fixed the issue in a timely manner, while trying to make sure it didn't affect the flow of the service. A normal crew for a weekend service consisted of 10 volunteers during the service for smooth operation, and another 4-5 for set up and tear down. Another responsibility, when needed, was that the CPD would assist in any outside function that required the use of any technical needs. This could be concerts, banquets, corporate functions, and anything else that required use of the facility (Facility could sit 1,100 - 1,200 people per service, overflow adding another 250-300 people)

This was a 120 hour summer internship working with Galaxy Aviation based out of the North Florida Regional Airport in St. Augustine, Fl. This internship was unpaid and took place over a 6 week period. During this time, experience was gained in Microsoft Excel, customer service, Field Based Operations, and coordination between different sectors of an airports management system.
