Michael Everitt commenced his career within the non-freehold property jurisdiction in 1982 as a Land Officer with the then Land Administration Commission. For a period of 10 years he developed expertise in relation to Land Openings, Leasing, Roads, Reservations and Lease Condition Compliance.Michael registered as a property Valuer in March 1995 and was accepted as an Associate Member of a property related institute soon after. Michael commenced work within the native title jurisdiction in 2000. For a period of 16 years he has worked as both a Senior Native Title Research Officer and State Negotiator successfully leading negotiation teams to achieve a number of consent determinations located throughout Queensland.Whilst working within the native title jurisdiction, Michael developed particular expertise in relation to :- Analysis of non-freehold lands in relation to native title- Conceptualisation of tenure strategies forming basis of native title determination negotiations- Identification and appropriate resolution of large infrastructure owned and operated within
