Having achieved my chief engineers unlimited ticket in 2021 I was given the opportunity to step up to role of Chief engineer. This coincided with a difficult time for the vessel, with it being sanctioned, seized and sold. I have gained a lot of experience with running the department, ordering and communicating with suppliers, seeking technical help when needed and problem solving and finding solutions under difficult circumstances. It has given me great confidence in my own ability and made me hungry for more challenges.

In role of second engineer I assisted the chief engineer in the running and maintaining of the engine room as well as many other systems around the vessel. Onboard I worked with MTU 595 Maine engines, and MTU 2000 generators. My time onboard allowed me to develop my electrical skills, as well as woking a lot on tenders and maintaining various water sport toys associated with yachting. I became very accustom to working as part of a charter boat.

Sailed in role of senior second engineer. Built up experience of working with MTU engines, 2000's, 4000's and 8000's, as well as working with gas turbine. Duties include sole engineer watchkeeping, maintenance to main engines, generators and ancillary equipment. Operation and maintenance of sewage systems, fresh water systems and lots of other equipment through out the vessel. During my time onboard I underwent a training course for gas turbines and completed a MTU 8000 course.

Completed a short 4 week trip as relief engineer onboard M/Y Slipstream covering the second engineer role. Gained a lot of experience on working onboard a yacht and working in a dry dock.

Worked on board the Queen Victoria watchkeeping as a 3rd Engineer, I also spent time working in the role of hotel service engineer. I did trips on board M/V Ventura and M/V Queen Mary aswell.

I did my cadetship at Warsash Maritime Academy. During the sea phases i worked onboard MV Arcadia and MV Aurora.
