Since April 2024, I have been W3 Full Professor leading the "Scalable Software Architectures for Data Analytics" group at the AI Center ScaDS.AI, TU Dresden, appointed at 36. Previously, I served as Deputy Full Professor ("W3-Vertretungsprofessor") for Web Science at KIT (2020-2024). My research focuses on AI, specializing in large language models (LLMs), graph neural networks (GNNs), and knowledge graphs (KGs), with work in neurosymbolic and explainable AI. I've authored 100+ peer-reviewed publications in top conferences (ACL, CIKM, ISWC) and journals. As Principal Investigator, I've led major projects, securing multi-million euro funding. I also have extensive teaching experience, lecturing to up to 600 students. My B.A. in philosophy adds a unique interdisciplinary lens to my AI research.
