Major career highlights▸ Played a leading role in establishing a Technology Enhanced Learning Strategy for Murdoch University and the ongoing implementation. ▸ Contributed to a major three-year program of work to enhance Curtin University's eLearning platform, including implementation of Blackboard Analytics, major upgrades to Blackboard LMS and Echo360, review and selection of Turnitin for electronic marking workflow, and contribution to other innovative developments ▸ Led product management for Echo360, including product integration strategy with legacy Lectopia product, launch of Echo360 personal capture software and purpose-built capture appliance hardware. Echo360 won the 2010 Frost & Sullivan Product Line Strategy Award in the Lecture Capture category and remains the predominant lecture capture vendor in Australian universities. ▸ Co-founded Lectopia and led the overall project, including product development, within the University of Western Australia from inception in 1998 through acquisition by Echo360 in 2007. Lectopia won a number of awards, including the national award (Institutional) for Services Supporting Student Learning in 2007 and WAITTA Best Product Award in 2006. In 2010, Lectopia was the enterprise-wide lecture capture solution used by 50% of Australian universities.▸ Designer of role-play simulation software (Simulation Builder), used by numerous departments at University of Western Australia between 1998 and 2007.
