My academic background consists of politics, humanitarianism, international relations, sociology, and Arabic language and culture. I also have experience working with organizations like Anera, as a Communications/Writing Intern, and the National Council of U.S. – Arab Relations Washington, through their DC Summer Internship Program.My experience with coursework in the Political Science and Arabic Departments at Vassar College, and working as the Arabic Department Research Assistant, provides me with a context of Middle Eastern relations. In addition, as an ongoing volunteer for the non-profit organization, Conversations Unbound, I work to empower forcibly displaced individuals, native French, Spanish, and Arabic speakers, as tutors connecting them with students in language classes in the US.
