Currently, I lead the Sustainable Finance team in the Americas at S&P Global Ratings. Our team helps embed ESG in Credit Ratings and also develop sustainability-specific products, such as Climate Transition Assessments and Second Party Opinions on Sustainable Debt. Previously, as a Director at S&P Global, in the US Energy Infrastructure Group, I evaluated the debt of power projects using an understanding of commodity conditions, contracts, and financial risk, among other parameters, and also was involved in thought leadership for the power space.Previously, I worked at FTI Consulting in its Forensic Accounting practice, where I investigated a wide array of financial crimes using an understanding of financial accounting and psychology of fraud, and also spent two years in Financial Services Audit group with Ernst & Young in New York and Washington.Specialties: I'm a Certified Public Accountant (DC, Virginia), Chartered Financial Analyst, Certified Fraud Examiner, and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst. I've worked extensively in the audits of and consulting for large government agencies and financial services firms. I have also published articles for accounting publications on fraud in the utilities industry and difficulties in doing business in the emerging markets, as well as multiple case studies.
