At Washington Wealth Advisors I assisted the advisors with multiple projects to help their business run smoother. I contacted their clients to confirm their portfolio risk and then used that information to add their qualified accounts into the appropriate Fidelity Wealth Central portfolio that I helped build in the software. I was also given the opportunity to set up online invoicing for WWA to make payments from their clients much easier for both the advisors and the clients. Lastly, I helped improve client experience in the office by making the conference room wireless so the advisors would be able to pull up the clients' information on a large monitor so they can easily show the client what they are talking about.

I worked in the budget office under Budget Analysts, the Budget Officer, and the Chief Financial Officer to provide assistance in the creation of the next fiscal year budget. I conducted a lot of historical and statistical analysis that was used by the CFO to defend the budget we proposed to Congress. I also was on the Cannon House Office Building Renewal team where I sat in on meetings and processed Funding Allocation Documents in order to fund the project. Much of the work I performed was very detailed oriented with strict deadlines which taught me how to work quickly, be diligent, and always have a second pair of eyes check over my work.

This was my first of three summers at the Architect of the Capitol. This summer I learned about the process of the AOC and how the budget justification worked. I performed a lot of historical analysis that has been published in the AOC's award winning Accountability Report and in multiple budget justifications.
