We built our business offering online training and testing for licensing agencies in the building industry. In 2004, three years after start-up, we were bought by DuPont. In 2011, BMI became a privately held company again.BVTV, Inc. - Producer and Executive Producer, Bob Vila’s Home AgainBob Vila and I produced his syndicated show, Bob Vila’s Home Again. As Executive Producer my tasks included managing all aspects of production. My responsibilities extended to include managing all aspects of the shows primary sponsor relationships. Tellegen-Ferrone Assoc., Inc. - Co-FounderWe designed, built, and marketed single family homes on Cape Cod and the Islands of Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket. The designs were inspired by the architectural vernacular of Cape Cod shelter. Custom details included wide pine floors, exposed beams, custom built wood kitchens and, we featured a stained glass window in each home. Spaces were smaller than was customary at the time. We were priced 10% to 20 % under the market for entry level homes. We sold more than 100 homes over four years.
