I started in 2019 as a patient transporter at Robert Wood Johnson Hamilton Hospital transporting, and giving the utmost care to patients in the hospital. Within a few months I became a lead transporter and would help run the day to day shift. I would make sure all equipment was properly cleaned and that all staff were properly trained on their duties. After working as a lead for 2 years I was moved over to Mainline Health at Riddle hospital where I became a supervisor for patient transport. I would oversee the day to day operations of the department and quickly helped better our patient throughout along with better educations and trainings. After my first year I was moved up to be a manager with system duties. I oversee Riddle hospital still, while gathering data from other hospitals in the system as well as revising training modules on a system level and working with other transport supervisors to ensure all duties are correctly being done and that their operations are running correctly. I've presented our CBR's (Client Business Reviews) along with presenting for senior leaders and nursing staff. I'm working on a project now with Employee Safety Specialists on how we can minimize work place injuries and keep our staff and patients safe at all times.
