I'm a freelance business manager who specialises in working with creative people who are passionate about what they do, but who might not be as passionate about all the admin, systems and general business management stuff that happens in the background! That's the stuff I love :)What I specialise in is;* Planning and strategy (Working out the why, what, who where and when of whatever!)* Book keeping through Xero (Keeping the accountant happy!)* Cash flow management (How much cash will I have in 3 months? When can I afford what?)* Systems analysis and development (Making dumb stuff more efficient and therefore more profitable!)* Basically - I handle all the background junk so you can pour all your energy and passion into the things you really care about!How I engage with clients;* First I approach someone who does something cool that I'm interested in working with.* The next step is be a meeting where we have a chat about what you find challenging about running a business, where you might need help and whether or not it's something I can even help you with (No charge)* I put together a proposal and the basis of a contractor agreement, where we agree on exactly what it is you'd like me to do, how much it will cost, and whether that work is a one off job or an ongoing thing. (No charge for the proposal)* Then I do whatever the thing is! Woohoo!
