Sodexo Engage are an employee benefits company, providing a discount platform, incentives, reward and recognition and a raft of other core benefits. In 2014, Sodexo Engage had a highly utilised travel service, which they offer to companies as an employee benefit for discounted holidays. However, it was unprofitable, lacking in service and the enquiry to booking conversion low.I was tasked with making the department, cost neutral and increase service delivery. Within 12 months, after having restructured the department, renegotiated commercial contracts and set out clear expectations from managers through to sales consultants; we became cost neutral year one and by year three had tripled revenue to over £9m and turning a good profit, whilst delivering great service and not impacting the level of discount offered to the end user.
