Also, with the help of UN colleagues and friends collected soccer balls and uniforms to support 2011 CNN Hero Mr. Patrice Millet’s Foundation Notre-Dame du Perpétuel Secours (Foundation of Our Lady of Perpetual Help) which uses soccer to help 600 children in the slums of Haiti who are enduring poverty to stay out of criminal activities and gangs through “education by sport.”
