As a Sheriff's Deputy, I carried out routine and reactionary security operations within the Norfolk City Jail. While maintaining a defensive posture, I also carried out other routine tasks vital to the critical infrastructure of the jail to include but not limited to; response to all security to alarms, medical and personnel transportation, distribution of food and other necessities, documentation of critical events, and the ensuring of the safety and well being of all assets and personnel within the facility.

As a range instructor my daily tasks were, included but not limited to; compilation and analysis of shooter rosters, prerange work up classes with automated simulation systems and physical hands orientation to reaffirm weapons handling capabilities of each shooter, individual instruction of multiple shooters based off if individuals capabilities and weaknesses, spotting of individuals' shots to reaffirm shot groupings and suggesting proper holds and fundamental adjustments.

I was trained to be a Machinist in Aberdeen, Maryland. There I was taught basic machining skills, manual milling, manual lathing, CNC lathing, and CNC milling operations. In Camp Schwab, I assisted in maintaining a battalion of light armored vehicles along with amphibious assault vehicles; through numerous parts fabrications, thread repairs, and minor welding operations. I worked here from March of 2010 to February of 2012. In camp Lejuene, I worked as a low level management over a weld shop that was in charge of the restoration and maintenance of heavy construction equipment. I instructed and new employees to the shop, supervised and assisted many of the more difficult projects, and mentored all of the non management employees.
