Reporting to the Regional Director ,I was responsible for the health and safety and P&L for 13 Jewson branches which have combined sales of circa 35 million pounds per year and 135 colleagues. My direct reports consisted of 13 branch managers and the business unit , Admin, Sales and transport managers.

From inception up to and after handover I control all aspects of the project from writing the specification and creating the budget to placing orders with and managing the sub-contractors the programme of works along with keeping the stakeholders up to date with the projects progress.Key Achievements: -• Created and successfully implemented “Working with Saint-Gobain Building Distribution” guide, this is a 100-page specification document which allows sub-contractors, stake holders and new comers the visibility of the entire process of a project.• Managed from inception through to completion the largest trade park in Saint Gobain UK and the Jewson “Go” concept store in Charlton.• Working with the Saint Gobain purchasing and auditing teams I created and implemented the nationwide tender of construction projects across the estate saving the business nearly 10 % which over the property departments average yearly project spend equates to £3,356,000 on its previously agreed rates, this saving was reported and recorded at the group’s headquarters in Paris.• Successfully implemented and completed multiple projects in a 12 months’ period to the value of £12,350,000 on time and in budget. Responsible for the delivery of projects from inception to practical completion.Individual Projects range from 100k to 550k with several being undertaken at once. A typical project consists of a wide range tasks from roofing to groundworks.Constant liaison with my site teams and client are imperative for a great install.
