*** My lifetime goal is to grow with a company in the aerospace or medical field that values its employees and provides rewarding work ***_____My first part-time jobs in high school and college were in sports retail and I would not quit until customers left the store smiling. My appreciation for customer service & satisfaction started here._____After graduating from Cal State Long Beach with a BS in Electronics Engineering Tech, I did not immediately find a career, so I took a year-long job for a rental warehouse. There, I cleaned, tested, and repaired (if necessary) various types of equipment (inc. moving lights & control consoles, power distro boxes, etc.) - sometimes on the same day that they returned from a show - so that they could be rented out again. My concentration for switching projects on the fly began here._____In 2015, I started as Technical Writer in an aerospace manufacturing plant, creating and revising work instructions for specialty molded parts. I was quickly promoted to Process Engineer, which supplemented my position to include instructions for equipment training with an emphasis on safety & efficiency. In 2019, I was promoted to Manufacturing Engineer, whereby I handled my previous expectations, in addition to ordering & verifying tooling and leading important projects in the manufacturing process. 2019 was also the year my department’s team of three engineers, was reduced to myself alone - one transferred to another department to cover a retiree, and the other left the company. My independence and self-reliability was tested and ultimately thrived for another two years until I was let go at the end of the fiscal year during the third round of layoffs in 2020, due to COVID-19._____ Nine short months later, in 2021, I started another Manufacturing Engineering job with a touchscreen company and we introduced three new touchscreen/LCD assemblies within the first year, in order to evolve our marketplace from touch panels & LCD heaters.
