I am a Chartered Engineer working for Garland as Civil, Structural, Assigned Certifier Coordinator and Health and Safety Engineer on numerous projects for large public and private clients. These projects areas have included hospitals, residential units, commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, schools, waste water schemes and water supply schemes, refurbishments and fit outs.Since completing my post graduate diploma my role in Garland has included Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP) document preparation and carrying out the role of PSDP on numerous projects in accordance with the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013. These have included various types and sizes of construction projects including hospitals, commercial, schools, waste water / water schemes. I also provide Health and Safety Consultancy Services to large public and private clients.I also have been acting as Project Supervisor Construction Stage (PSCS) on a number of projects when required. These have included major telecommunication and mechanical and electrical installations and has involved carrying out the duties of the PSCS including preparing the safety & health plan and coordinating the safety and health of the project.I give internal and external presentations on various topics including Health and Safety and provide designer training within Garland on design risk assessment and new technologies.I have excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, BIM as well as numerous design software packages such as CADS CSC Tedds, ETABS and SAFE.
