The Company was founded in 2009 in order to organize a new (de novo) state chartered bank or to acquire an existing bank. I identified and recruited a diverse group of business owners, entrepreneurs, professionals and bankers. I sought out and hired top consultants, attorneys, accountants and other professionals to complete the required applications, raise the necessary capital to acquire an existing bank. In 2009 we applied and was approved by the Federal Reserve to become a bank holding company. In 2010 we made our first acquisition Baytree National Bank and Trust Company, Lake Forest, Illinois

As one of the owners of the bank I had full P&L and balance sheet responsibility for my division. Over the 6 years I built a division with average outstanding loan balances of $80, 000,000 and average available deposit balances of $75,000,000. My division generated ROA of 2.5% and a ROE of 17%. My asset mix was 80% commercial and industrial loans to businesses with average sales size of approximately $15,000,000. Average loan size was approximately $2,000,000. I built that division by focusing on the customer:• Established a peer to peer advisory group with existing clients to help them improve their businesses• I constantly bring clients together to help them grow their businesses• I work closely with clients to help them prepare cash flow projections • I make quick but appropriate decisions in order to make the banking process as painless as possible

As CEO, my responsibilities included the design, development and execution of a business strategy that addressed all critical aspects in both domestic and international markets. I developed and implemented supporting tactical plans in production, marketing and operations, and ensured that the disciplines of human resources, information resources, and finance fully supported line operations.
