Throughout my career I have found myself working in a number of different positions, using a wide variety of technical skills. As a result of this type of career growth, my most important skill has been quickly learning and adapting to new technologies, and knowing how to use these tools to creatively solve issues and identify new opportunities. Currently, I’m working for Pearson as a Senior Data Services Engineer. In my time here, I have managed to take the lead on a complete infrastructure redesign of the company’s ETL process for its Schoolnet software. It was a need I identified early and took initiative on in order to allow our application to scale to a quickly changing environment and rapidly expanding user base. Other tools and enhancements I have created helped to bring the company forward technologically, were adapted throughout as standards and often presented new sources of revenue. Specialties: Full cycle software development, project leadership, client/user communications, .NET, SQL Server, ETL
