Currently working as the Vet Success on Campus Counselor for the Department of Veterans Affairs at Salt Lake City Community College. I this position I help Veterans transition from the military to school and prepare them for employment upon completion of their training.In this position, I also provide training to staff and faculty of local colleges and universities to bring awareness of Veterans issues, such as PTSD, TBI and other readjustment issues that may impact the Veterans success on campus. I have 20 years of experience in the field of Vocational Rehabilitation with state, federal, and private sector employers, and have a specific interest in new counselor training and professional development. And am always looking for new opportunities to network and provide consultation to better assist those with disabiling conditions become fully included on the community.
