Kings Place averages 600+ events per year, so planning and organising my workload is essential. Hired for my versatility, I lead our flagship festivals London Podcast Festival and Jewish Book Week, as well as working with an eclectic and diverse programme spanning film, jazz, classical, comedy, folk and spoken word. As project leader I create the timeline for the campaign, manage a sizeable budget, delegate website event setup and event coverage amongst my team, report and debrief to the Head of Marketing and Directors, as well as working with designers and filmmakers to create digital, video and print marketing. Reviewing ticket sales on a daily basis and meeting weekly with the programming team, I prioritise my work to regularly surpass box office targets. I plan, design and evaluate analytics of newsletters and paid social media advertising, both launching and remarketing events with fresh ideas every week. Making use of my video editing and design skills across Adobe platforms, I’ve made a focused impact on creation of dynamic social media content that pushes engagement. I launched a bi-monthly leaflet featuring copy for up to 80 events and designed to be exit-flyered and distributed in house and around the city. Collaboratively, we have launched an outstanding brand refresh that instantly displays the spirit of our venue. I work directly with our programming team on the creation and distribution of PR, organising interviews, and compiling press listings, passes and guest tickets. As a member of our diversity and inclusion team, I work with a task force to review how we can be an inclusive workplace and welcoming venue for everyone. Show less

Making lifelong partnerships in universities, cinemas, the film industry and retail I was able to secure some fantastic marketing partnerships and advertising for the festival as well as offering tickets and opportunities to filmmaking students. As part of a small team, I worked closely with the festival programmer, agreeing on our messaging and PR, whilst offering suggestions for panel discussions and sourcing UK based panel guests. For the LKFF UK tour I recruited and managed a team of six assistants who were tasked with distributing marketing materials and sourcing local partners. I worked with Impact to distribute our print at London film festivals, cinemas, museums, culture hubs and arts organisations. To inform my work I regularly chased exhibitors for ticket sales, ensured our marketing was displayed prominently in their venue and communications, and that our festival trailer played before films I had chosen from their programme. I led our cinema’s dementia friendly screenings, the first of their kind for Picturehouse, a programme that has now gone nationwide. For three consecutive years I managed to get more university fresher fair sign ups than any other Picturehouse cinema. I also programmed screenings, ran a regular podcast, interviewed filmmakers for Q&As, created countless social media competitions, vivid displays and had great success with local partnerships and press listings. My passion for film walks hand in hand with my work and my interests. My proudest achievements outside of work have been with No Homers Club, a pop culture themed arts and events organisation that I founded with a friend. Displaying the works of thirty artists at a time, we built interactive exhibitions, concerts and film screenings, selling out a 1000-capacity venue three times. The events captured national attention on BBC Radio 5 Live, plus international coverage from Dazed Digital… Show more My passion for film walks hand in hand with my work and my interests.
