My Master's degree was an interdisciplinary programme in which I am focused upon: Foreign Policy of the European Union, the Constitutional Law of the EU, Russia/Eurasia relations, Corruption in the Ukraine, External Law of the EU, Fundamental Rights after Brexit, EU trade policy, and the EU in Global Governance.

For just over 6 months I worked as an Auxiliaire de Conversation a l’École de Maurice Destenay a Liege. For this post I assisted the English teacher of this school in every day lessons to students from the ages of 13-18+. My responsibilities included: making lesson plans, designing class activities and presentations, correcting grammar, intonation and pronunciation, and evaluation and feedback of students' presentations. Undoubtedly this was an enriching experience, which required a great deal of confidence and perseverance, as the abilities and behaviour of the students varied hugely. This position forced me to become a more adept communicator and mediator.

Alongside my final year of study, I decided to complete an internship with a small but esteemed non-profit organisation. As an intern, I completed a range of tasks, from IT to writing emails and letters to politicians, donors and important media contacts. The work was deeply interesting and allowed me to tackle issues which I think are central to shaping modern evidence-based social policy in the United Kingdom and abroad.
