Compositing Supervisor of 2D to 3D conversion of film “Escape from Planet Earth” using Nuke and Maya. Researched and developed workflow/tools to carry shots through the pipeline. Hired and trained junior compositors in 2d tracking, planar tracking, morphing, 3d projection, painting, and roto. Reviewed shots with VFX Supervisor and assisted artists in solving problems. Created video training for our sister studio in Detroit.

Led a team of artists in the process of converting film “Spy Kids 4” from 2D to 3D utilizing Nuke, Mocha, Maya, and PFTrack. Assisted in reviewing shots with compositing supervisor and advised artists how to solve difficult shots. Tasks included markup, rotoscoping, clean plating, layout, and rotomation. Created Nuke gizmos to solve technical challenges evident in the pipeline. Was sent to Speedshape LA to train new hires on our stereo compositing techniques.
