Responsible for the planning, coordination, resourcing and execution of all aspects of on-site and off-site training. Responsible for representing the U.S. Army interests and image on campus and throughout Long Island communities. Also responsible to promote the growth of the community awarness on Stony Brook University of the ROTC program and what it offers the community and prospective Cadets. Additionaly serves as an academic advisor and counselor and ensures ongoing future Army Officer professional development. Provide support to two active JROTC programs.

Responsible for the proper maintenance, accountability, and overall readiness of assigned vehicles and equipment in excess of $25,000,000. Responsible for processing and distributing tactical and intelligence information, establising and maintaining tactical communications and maintaining proper command control procedures to assist the Battalion S3. Primary planner for current operations. Serves as primary Battle Captain, responsible to the Battalion S3 for maintaining the current situation of both friendly and enemy forces and monitoring all operations in the Battalion Tactical Operations Center (TOC).

Responsible for developing projects in conjunction with the Mayor of Badrah, Iraq in order to help improve the infrastructure and development of the town.

Designates the operational status of his launchers, determines their employment sequence based upon commander's guidance and mission requirements. Ensure operational data is entered properly in the fire direction computer and forwards information to the battery operations center. Directs internal maintenance efforts and coordinates for external maintenance as required. Responsible for the maintenance and accountability of platoon MTOE, valued in excess of 10 million dollars.
