I have fourteen years of on-site experience using AutoCAD, including twelve years using Revit and three years using Microsoft Project for Architectural project timelines. I have completed a Diploma of Building Design and Technology in 2009, part-time, whilst working full time in the industry from 2004. I am currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Urban Development (Honours) (Construction Management) at the Queensland University of Technology.From a background of liaising with engineers and detailers in the office and working on-site with builders and fabricators, I believe that you can never have too many details. “If you cannot clearly understand how to construct it, how does the builder know, without a clear detail”?My experience includes residential, multi-residential, aged care, retail, commercial, and education, from Development Application right through to the Construction Documentation stage, including coordinating consultants, along with the clients and government bodies.I am confident working independently with extensive knowledge of the Building Code of Australia (National Construction Code), the Queensland Development Code, and the Australian Standards; however, I also enjoy working in a team environment. I have impressive time management skills along with active listening and effective communication skills. I am comfortable with all types of communication. I have a keen eye for detail and complete all tasks with accuracy and fluency. I welcome feedback from my colleagues, and I am always looking at ways to broaden my knowledge and abilities.I am highly confident that, although I am not currently a Project Manager, my knowledge and qualifications would make me a strong contender for this role.
