I was elected by the town of North Haven to be First Selectman in December of 2009 to oversee the town as its Chief Elected Official. I oversee all of the town government's department heads and I spend a great deal of time on the finances of the town, economic development in terms of bringing new businesses into town and oversee all of the legal issues of our government. I also have regional responsibilities as the Chairman of the South Central Council of Governments, Chairman of Work Force Alliance for the Greater New Haven area, a member of the state of Connecticut Police Officer Standards Training Council, and Chairman of the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy for the Greater New Haven region.
