Ex nihilo nihil fit“Nothing comes from nothing”. The philosopher Parmenides philosophical expression on the ancient Greeks beliefs, that things cannot be created from nothing, has become my motto in life.Over the last 30 years, I have managed to gain wide experience in sales, leadership, and senior management. I have been leading turnarounds, created and implemented new sales strategies and built strong sales teams. I am also experienced with international KAM, pipeline management, business excellence and marketing, amongst others.In January 2021 I joined PRIMO DANMARK A/S as the Business Area Director of PRIMO Concept, which is the department with the standard assortment for DIY and wholesalers. PRIMO is part of INTER PRIMO A/S with 12 locations in 8 countries, and with more than 1.000 employees. We are specialized in the extrusion of plastic profiles.My main responsibilities are:- Full P&L for PRIMO Concept- Part of PRIMO DANMARK A/S senior management team - Developing and executing a new department growth strategy- Motivate and develop my team by quality leadership to achieve set goalsMy main successes so far:- Navigating successfully through times of change, with Covid-19, war in Europe and following disruptions to markets, prices, consumer behavior etc., and still meeting budgets- Participating in the development of a new corporate strategyMy personal values:- Take ownership - Keep focus on the target- Believe in the cause, be dedicated, and work hard- I strive to become a better leader tomorrow than I am todayI am married to Mia and father of three boys.
