▪ The primary purpose of my role was to manage project operations, working across all strategic asset management planning and procurement processes for several high-profile waste-management projects;▪ Later focused on all procurements within the project team;▪ Delivery of an end-to-end tender creation, evaluation and implementation, working within the ACT procurement policies and legislative requirements to achieve best value for money;▪ Tasked to manage landfill operations and asset management within ACT NOWaste for the Asbestos Taskforce, identifying the project scope, procurement and subsequent supervision of operations, ensuring WHS compliance;▪ Delivery Lead for procurement of the Mugga Lane Resource Management Centre Landfill Operations. Met all procurement deadlines and ensured contract was commenced within set budget and requirements. Project delivered on time and under the AU$5M budget; ▪ Strategic Asset Management planning for the closure of the West Belconnen Landfill site, developing the plan for the remediation works and submission of a successful business case for AU$32M funding to the ACT Treasury;▪ Tasked to manage the Green Waste Bins Pilot Program. Developed a fully outsourced, innovative performance based operational model and successfully delivered the pilot program within a tight timeframe and within the AU$2.3M allocated budget.

Managing all aspects of Landfill Operations in particular the disposal of remains of the "Mr Fluffy" asbestos contaminated houses within the ACT; including contaminated spoil and VENM.Contract operations to ensure compliance with Victorian code of practice BEPM and comply with EPA requirements within the site;Implementing total asset management of all plant, equipment and facilities within the site including developing a life-cycle scheduled maintenance repair, replacement and upgrade program. Identifying cost savings for better practices by innovating better facilities. Utilizing continuous improvement processes by redesigning a quicker and more efficient system to monitor and approve contaminated spoil and building demolition deliveries with all stakeholders.
