Before my career experience, I have two years of experience in college centering around the game and simulation development process utilizing proper documentation and design practices as well as creating two complete 3D games upon graduation.I have been in the 3D simulation industry for the better part of a decade (8+ years) working on projects ranging from heavy equipment simulators, to agricultural simulations, to aerospace demos, and so many others. I am proficient in primarily C++ and C# programming languages with experience in others such as Objective C, Visual Basic, HTML, Java, Javascript, lua script, torque script, and unreal script. Experience in game engines includes primarily Unity 3D and Havok Vision and with lesser experience in others including Unreal, Torque, CryEngine, Godot, and XNA Game Studio. Outside of complete game engines I’ve worked directly in a number of prominent APIs such as OpenGL and DirectX for graphics and rendering, as well as PhysX, Havok, and other custom implementations for physics. I’ve worked in several different IDEs over the years including Visual Studio (from 2005 onward), Eclipse, MonoDevelop, and VSCode.Outside of the 3D simulation industry I’ve also got multiple years of real-world .NET development experience using framework 3.5 to latest, .NET Core, and Mono. I have written full data driven desktop applications as well as WCF web services and ASP web applications. As far as database implementation, I have worked with Microsoft SQL, Oracle and MySQL databases. Working alongside of those database implementations I have utilized both Entity Framework and Enterprise Library data access solutions.I am always looking to learn new technologies and find new and exciting ways to apply them!
