Having spent over 10 years in the corporate AV industry, I have managed to gain, byexperience, a vast amount of knowledge through all areas. A strong desire to learn why somethingdoesn't work first time has meant that I haven't shied away from a challenge, and activelyseek to push myself and gain more experience. - Management and co-ordination of all aspects of projects being delivered – equipment, H&S, crew, logistics, accommodation, parking, ordering bespoke items etc.- Inputting all aspects of a job into Hiretrack for quotation, picking and installing- Attending site visits to measure rooms, assess access and meet with clients and venues- Supporting the technical team with operational queries, procedure change and other workflow- Creating 3D imagery with Google Sketchup to show clients their show and to give the technical team an understanding of what is expected on site- Ensuring H&S within the technical team is up to date, being followed and creating RMAs as necessary- Communicating with clients via phone, email and face to face to answer queries and gain information required to produce a quote.

Including my previous responsibilities as Audio Visual Technician, I managed the day to day workload, both equipment and technicians, implemented systems to improve efficiency, care, repair and purchase equipment, Carry out training on and off site for clients and in house technicians and manage Health & Safety on and off site.

Starting from a trainee, I learnt lighting, audio and video systems, rigging and set building. Largely in corporate and education, I have worked with a variety of companies including charities, local councils, blue chip companies, national and international businesses within the UK and Europe. I was involved with all aspects of the business, both in live events and installations. I went on to lead a team of technicians, sub-contractors and riggers to build and run conferences. I also worked to install monitors, audio racks, projection and lighting.

- Create 2D CAD drawings to architects specifications- Visit building sites and existing buildings to measure for the installation of windows, doors and curtain walling.- Use computer software to create pick, cut and order lists for other members of the build team.- Organise tools and parts in stores- Meet with clients and architects to discuss their requirements and advise as necessary.
