Michael currently serves as Manager with the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions Canada.In his professional endeavours, Michael has served as a Senior Underwriter with Great American Insurance Company's Executive Liability Division, a Commercial Account Associate in HUB HKMB's Director's Liability Practice and Finance/Enforcement with the Ministry of the Attorney General. In 2010 he was elected as the youngest-ever Executive Council member and instrumentalist in Canada’s longest running community ensemble, the Newmarket Citizens Band.He has earned Scouting’s highest honour, The Chief Scout Award, awarded by former Prime Minister Jean Chrétien and Governor General Adrienne Clarkson in recognition of awareness of community, national, and international issues.Michael has obtained his Honours Bachelor of Business Administration with Distinction from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2010. His studies include a degree-concentration in Insurance & Risk Management a minor in Psychology and a designation in Canadian Risk Management. For his senior years at university, Michael served as a Teaching Assistant for nine different university level classes, instructing over 800 students.
