• Primary duties would include the engineering of Fire & Security Alarm Systems for the Fire & Security Operations department. To include the preparation of drawings and submittal packages for Fire, Security and other low voltage systems.• Alternate Duties are to assist and help prepare projects for filing in the City of New York, Long Island and within the tri-State area. Prepping forms and gathering documentation up to and including the self-certification Letters of Defect for both Fire Alarm systems and Fire Sprinkler Systems. Attend on-site inspections when required.• Provide technical support to the field project managers and staff.• Work in the field at job sites to integrate Fire and Security systems into other various other systems.• Configure and program Fire Alarm Graphic Workstations then install them at the project work-site.• Provide assistance when needed to program and configure Fire Alarm equipment in the field and at the office.• Consulting with Architects and Engineers about Fire & Security designs.

• Primary duties would include assisting the Major Project Sales department with the estimation of material to complete a Fire and/ or Security system design.• Put together estimates to include the necessary bill of materials, required technician time and clerical time to execute the project.• Intervention with the sales department to discuss customer’s requests and code requirements.• System designing and planning.• Fabricate drawings and designs through the use of AutoCad design software.
