I am a proven leader with expertise in operations and project management. I have a have a high level of interest in finance - this allows me to understand how details affect the big picture. I have been with the various forms entities of AT&T (Wisconsin Bell, Ameritech, SBC) for 35 years. I started in 1986 as a directory assistance operator and moved along the career path of outside technician, technical manager, and area manager positions in the central office, construction, and the business services organizations. Along the way, I received a bachelor's in Business Management Systems from Milwaukee School of Engineering and an MBA from UW–Milwaukee. My deep practical experience, along with my education, gives me the credibility with both those I lead, subordinates down to the technician level, and those I report to, including at a senior management level. I have managed many complex projects and organizations and have become a recognized go-to person, moving among organizations to fix and resolve difficult issues, often involving union contracts. In addition to my professional career, I am dedicated to my community, having served on the local volunteer fire department from 2001–2011; and the Town, and now Village, Board from 2014–2021. I was elected as Village President in April 2021. Most recently, I have become involved with NCFCA, a speech & debate league for youth ages 12-18, and serve as a debate judge for their competitions. It has been a truly rewarding experience so far. I have long had a passion for both operations and finance. In my professional and civic career this helps me understand how the decisions made in running a business, or the Village, impact the financial success of each organization. My interest in finance even led me to serve as treasurer of a local investment club (the oldest in the state of Wisconsin) for six of the 15 years I was involved with the club.
