Assisted in preparing for Military HIV-1 Research Program (MHRP) recompete and writing other Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) opportunities. Assisted capture in researching background for upcoming opportunities. Wrote proposals and fundraising appeals to advance biomedical research to benefit the health and well-being of military and civilian populations.

As part of a collaborative team in a Contract Research Organization (CRO) with a large portfolio of functional service provider (FSP) contracts, writes technical proposals, past performances, and other documents in support of the company's business development for biomedical research conducted by WRAIR, other U.S. military, and Institutes within the National Institutes of Health. I was the company’s only technical writer working on its OMNIBUS IV submission across each of the four Market Segments; ICON received an award with in all four. Assisted in writing responses for Operation Warp Speed and other JPEO opportunities. Conducted extensive research in preparation for bids for TBICoE and a BARDA Clinical Trials Network IDIQ.

Designs and conducts evaluation of programs. Writes and edits proposals, grants, monographs, strategic plans, and case studies concerning national security issues; biomedical research; Medical Assistance; family health routines; health communication in urban and rural communities; alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs of abuse; mental health; culturally sensitive interventions; HIV/AIDS; educational and social services for high-risk youth. Recent clients, among others, have included:–Lockheed Martin–For a contract with the National Institutes of Health's (NIH) Office of Strategic Coordination, served as Lead Writer to record proceedings for regional strategic meetings in Chicago, Illinois; San Francisco, California; and Potomac Maryland. The meetings sought to gather input from biomedical and behavioral researchers to develop the annual Common Fund Plan. Executed a monograph that documented the ideas proposed in the meetings. Attended and reported on a CMS Tribal Consultation in New Mexico for Medicaid/CHIP. Assisted in evaluation of SIDS prevention in Indian Country for NIH. Assists in federal business development. Serves as project director for two task orders under an IDIQ contract with the Economic Statistics Administration in the U.S. Department of Commerce. The first task order is inventory the economic statistical products of the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis and the U.S. Census Bureau. The second task order is to provide a comprehensive review of economic statistical products related to retail sales and construction.
